transition town imageWelcome to Trawsnewid Llandrindod Transition - the transition group for the community in and around Llandrindod Wells, Powys, facilitating the changes our community must make to meet the challenges of climate change and energy supply.

"what happens when the oil runs out? for all those aspects of life that this community needs in order to sustain itself and thrive, how do we significantly increase resilience (to mitigate the effects of Peak Oil) and drastically reduce carbon emissions (to mitigate the effects of Climate Change)?"

There are alternative ways of doing money and we will watch some films about them and listen to our guest speaker Mark John-Williams one of the founders of the new Llandrindod Wells Time Bank.
